brown and blue color families go so well together. love the thick lines and strokes. gives it such a layered look. like i could just peel one off if i wanted. the subject matter is very creepy/scary but the fact that she's blowing a kiss adds a contrasting dynamic that's pretty cool. kiss of death? or is that too obvious? don't want to find myself downwind of that love. right?
What a strange poetry ... you can almost hear the rustle of leaves. There is so much delicacy in the face with water colors, flat front, with the mole that recalls another era. These graceful fingers that offer the kiss, this harmony in colorful shades of hair and background, which contrasts with the lifelike skin. The hair from the blue skin, cold and becomes organic, it seems to approach a dense network and blood, an invisible heart. The poetry of the hand that gives it passes this cluster almost alive and exciting. Then there's the captivating background and without time, as ocher storm. The only real part, or "setting" is this quivering tree on the left, straight out of an old painting or vanity, already rusty yet unique witness of the scene. I'm in love, the last two that you paint have a real breath, you look inspired. You have put a lot of yourself in them, it is very successful.
